I know that adults have to get passports to cruise outside of the country, but what about children? Do children have seperate passports? If so, at what age do you buy an adult passport? How long are passports good for?

Everyone needs a passport! Even babies.
An adults passport is valid for 10 years, a child under 15 is valid for 5 years. It's really not a bad price and is so much faster and is really the best form of ID, to travel with a passport.

Here's the government site with all the passport information and forms you can download. You can also apply at your local post office.

Thanks

Hi Tara,

welcome to the board.
I've been told you only need photo ID. But I'm double checking to make sure and getting through to someone at the immigration office is not easy!! Will keep you posted and have an answer soon I promise. Very Happy

Just an update. As long as the ship doesn't visit any forgeign ports, which it doesn't, then just photo ID is all that is required.
